Contenu

The Miltimore Cemetery is found off Miltimore Road to the south of Mansonville, about 1/10 of a kilometre from its junction with Route 243.  Sixteen graves are marked in this family cemetery.  Daniel Miltimore (1762-1846), wife Nancy (1777-1859) and young daughter Susan G. (d. 1845, aged 8 yr 7 m 8 d) repose there.

The inscription on the headstone of Daniel Miltimore reads: “ came to Potton 1812 »  “ When I lie buried deep in dust / My flesh shall be thy care / These with'ring limbs with thee I trust / To raise them strong and fair »

The last burial in this cemetery is that of Hon. Col. John Sherman Miltimore, in 1976, son of William W. Miltimore and his wife, Elizabeth Morey Dyer.

Situé sur le chemin Miltimore, dans l’ancien hameau de Meig’s Corner, ce cimetière familial accueille Daniel Miltimore (1762-1846), son épouse Nancy (1777-1859) et sa fille, Susan G. (1813-1819).[1]
