The Groupe bénévole municipal de Potton is comparatively recent to the history of Potton, having received its not for profit charter in October 2010.  This organization, known as the GBMP, made up of volunteer members, was formally mandated by the Municipal Council to manage certain municipal infrastructures, including the Round Barn of Mansonville, Place de la Grange-Ronde, and the Pont de la Frontière.  It also has a certain liaison established for trails of the Appalachian corridor and the section of the Missisquoi North, in Potton. 

The organization is comprised of committed, active, and qualified volunteers who proudly represent their community.
