The George Cemetery is situated on Chemin du Lac, close to Chemin du Château-Jones. It is still in use. The cemetery was established by the George family. It was the first to be incorporated in Potton . Moses George (1771-1835) and wife, Abigail Channell (1782-1859), were the first of the George family to settle locally. They arrived in Bolton Township around 1794, and it is believed that Moses George pioneered near the natural pond still bearing the family name. Étang George or George Pond is found on Mountain Road. Many are the descendants of Moses and Abigail George who still live in Potton.

Ce cimetière familial établi par Moses Hayes George (1771-1835) est situé sur le Chemin du Lac, près du Chemin du Château-Jones. La famille George est arrivée à Potton vers 1794.[1] Moses George et la plupart des membres de sa famille y sont enterrés de 1835 à 1953, 28 George y ont trouvé refuge.[2]
