As if you didn't know, an echo is the repetition of a sound due to the reflection of sound waves on an obstacle; or it may be a place that produces the phenomenon. Here we are talking of Mount Echo, one of the summits of the Sutton Mountains, with an altitude of 761 meters. Presumably, remarkable sound reflecting qualities are found on Mount Echo, but nothing documented about its name proves this. The south-southeastern face of Mount Echo is an imposing cliff that may offer extraordinary sound carrying and reflection.
As with Cliff Lake, this mountain is situated on the border of Sutton and Potton Townships; however, Topos sur le Web, attributes Mount Echo to the Township of Sutton!
Il s'agit d'un des sommets des monts Sutton, il a une altitude de 761 m.[1] Note : comme le Lac Cliff, ce mont se trouve à la frontière des Cantons de Potton et de Sutton. Topos sur le Web l’attribue au Canton de Sutton.L’écho est la répétition d’un son due à la réflexion des ondes sonores sur un obstacle; lieu où se produit ce phénomène.[2]
