Château-Landing, Chemin du

The name of this road refers to the Château da Silva, a large and long forgotten hotel and its wharf once located here on Lake Memphremagog. The Chateau burned, and it is likely that the wharf disappeared from the Potton landscape long ago! The brook, which flows into Lake Memphremagog, is also known as the Chateau Brook, possibly by reason of the old hotel.
