A sombre grey slab on a lichen-covered base marks the burial site of Charles N. Bedard (1830-1899) and of his wife Katie Burkhart in the Chapel Hill Cemetery. The Bedard farm adjoined the Samuel Clark family located on Chemin Fitzsimmons and today remains in the Bedard family.^{^[1]} Many descendants of the Bedard family live in Potton.
