A fanciful road name for Potton!  Canary Road!  Canaries: greenish yellow in colour, from which many domestic breeds are descended, presumably originating from the Canary Islands or perhaps named after them! The bird is definitely not indigenous to Canada!  Found in cages in North America in many a sunny apartment window!  However, we might be forgiven for thinking of our brightly coloured gold finches of summer.
