The Mansonville Optimist Club is a benevolent organisation, active for the past 25 years in Potton.  Its mission is to inspire the best in our youth through positive reinforcement and an optimistic outlook.  Through sports and the arts, the Optimists help children develop their talents, increase their self-esteem, and learn to make new friends through shared experiences.  Opti-ski, Opti-tennis, Opti-vélo and Opti-génie are but a few examples.  The Optimist Club members are all volunteers.  Each year, they organize a fundraiser in sponsoring the Mayor's Golf Tournament at Owl's Head.  Information about current activities may be obtained at optimistemansonville.com.
