Potter, Cimetière
Contenu
This tiny cemetery, at the corner of Chemin West Hill and Chemin de l'Étang-Fullerton , is the resting place of Emma I. Potter (1859-1880) and Frank H. Potter (1858-1876). Emma, at 21, and Frank at 17, were born a year apart. Were they brother and sister? A young couple? What befell them to have died so young? History is silent on their story. Curiously, there is a stone in memory of Frank H. Potter in the Ruiter's cemetery, bearing the same dates (1858-1876) as is found in the Potter plot on West Hill! But none for Emma. I wonder why?
Abner Potter (1785-1882) and Jane B. Potter (1840-1919), wife of Harvey Crowell of West Potton, among other members of the Potter family, repose in the Ruiter's Settlement Cemetery.
Situé au coin des chemins West Hill et de l’Étang-Fullerton, ce cimetière accueille Emma I. Potter (1859-1880) et Frank. H Potter (1858-1876)[1]
