This road is a continuation of Chemin Bellevue that once led to a border crossing point. The covered bridge is not accessible to vehicular traffic and there is no longer a border crossing point on this road. Most probably, there are instead motion detectors and sensors and all manner of gadget to prevent unauthorized entry into the U.S.A.
