Owl's Head Cemetery is found on Owl's Head Road, and sits at the foot of the old Owl, kittycorner to Chemin Laliberté. The cemetery was opened around 1845 and it is still in use. In the shade the century old maple found at its gate, the members of some of this region's oldest families have found their eternal rest: the Magoon, McCoy, and Brown names are the most numerous. Views from Owl's Head Cemetery are spectacular to the west – but then again, almost every view in Potton has some element of beauty, doesn't it?
Situé sur le Chemin Owl’s Head, près du Chemin du Grand-Duc, ce cimetière a été implanté vers les années 1845 pour accueillir à l’époque les habitants de ce coin de Potton.[1]
