Owl's Head Road, in my experience, has always been called Owl's Head Road from Vale Perkins to chemin Leadville.

Chemin Owl's Head road is essentially the continuation of Chemin du Lac, therefore one might logically conclude the latter name would be maintained for its entire length.  Not so!  When the Council formalized road names, 95% of the local population pointed out that the traditional road name from Vale Perkins was Owl's Head Road and that they wished it to remain so.  Council agreed.

Chemin Owl's Head begins at the angled intersection of Chemin de Vale Perkins and Chemin du Lac.  Some confusion arises because Potton also has a Chemin du Mont-Owl's Head, which is found in the residential development on the mountain itself.
